This update brings about a drink REWORK, as well as some nice new art!
Drink REWORK!
~ The 'Yearning Mircalla' is now called the 'Starved Rose', and has took on an altered appearance (its still Word-of-Mouth, same recipe too)!
Also:
~ Two animated billboards inside the Bar have been replaced with completely original new ones with animations!
You may have noticed it already if you've been in the Bar the past day or so! I've been wanting to replace these for a while, since I think I can make flashier/fancier ones than the OG VA-11 HALL-A ones (no shade, but its my Bar after all). Plus, any opportunity to draw Razor and/or remind you of WAYSIDE Satellite (the indie game I create when not doing all this) is something I will do.

Last year's decorations return, with some mild updates!
New from Last Year:
~ The 'Spooky Spirits - Seasonal Favorites' Poster in the main Bar Area is updated to feature (Word-of-Mouth) drinks that didn't exist last year, such as the 'Chains of Torment' and the 'Yearning Mircalla'!
~ A Note has been added under the 'Master Chief Dog' Costume Poster, addressing and giving my stance regarding a tool used in the creation of the costume posters.
Other than that, we're back! BOO! ๐ป
While we don't have any NEW Halloween-themed drinks to go with this update, perhaps members within the community may commission something to that end.
Any explicitly Halloween-themed drink that is Word-of-Mouth that get commissioned this month will end up being promoted in the 'Spooky Spirits' poster in the Bar!
This is to encourage both Halloween drinks, as well as more Word-of-Mouths. I love both of those things.

The 'Eye Droid' has 2 variations- with one of them projecting a minimap of The Midnight Bar itself, similar to how it would work in Metal Gear Solid V! Nice to see the Kojima love! Now I'm waiting for the REAL fans to show up and commission a Death Stranding BB Pod you can drink from ||(or... maybe not please)||.
The 'IHWA' is based on the 'Ihwaju'; a Korean Rice Wine- meant to be served to distinguished and honored guests. The serenity of this concept I hope is well-captured here, so I hope you get to see this drink for yourself!

This marks the first drink for Page 19, and is based on the RWBY series. It features a long rapier in the middle of a pond born of frigid ice, as well as a crown and a glowing glyph! This also marks the second consecutive appearance of physical, tangible ice in a drink! That makes TWO!! WOW!!

The last drink for Page 18! A cat head with a decorative flower, straws, garnishes, and... visible ice?! Shockingly, nobody really commissions drinks with ice in the concept art, so this was a surprise! Amazing.

The Midnight Bar (PC/Quest/iOS) has been updated!
This update fixes an issue preventing the Drink Machine and other elements from loading in properly!
In other words, the Drink Machine will load in properly now, as well as various Madlad Posters.
So, a little recap for those not in the know: ~ The Midnight Bar uses pastebin.com for various purposes. ~ When pastebin.com itself is under maintenance, stuff breaks.
This update makes less stuff break when this happens! At the time of this writing, pastebin is STILL under maintenance, meaning that at best, older files pertaining to drinks and patrons are being accessed, rather than the up-to-date stuff. If the event of this happening, the Bar is now equipped to handle this scenario, albeit with caveats.
If some drinks/patron benefits/permissions aren't working right now, it means that Pastebin is still under maintenance. ๐จ
However, a MAJORITY of stuff will work now, as opposed to nothing.

**Based on the Frieren series, this drink pays homage to a fallen hero in the story- complete with a statue and an assortment of flowers laid in his honor! These flowers are said to be his favorite, and perhaps their influence on the flavor of this drink shall make them yours' as well.
In addition, there is a new (Owner's Secret) variant of the 'Funky Beat' as well!** Keep a lookout for @Qin of the Funk (N30 R0S3 in-game) and it could be made for you! ๐ง

This is a coffee with a rich tie to Portuguese culture, despite its unassuming appearance.
From SonicDDS:

Coffee is a big part of Portuguese culture, as such I would love to share this a bit throughout Midnight Bar as, here even on bars and nightclubs, there are industrial espresso machines in every establishment. Here is also normal to ask for a "cafรฉ com cheirinho" that would translate to a "coffee with a bit of smell". Meaning it's a coffee with hard liquor in it, usually "รgua Ardente" Firewater."

The Midnight Bar (PC/Quest/iOS) has been updated!
~ A rare bug where a player can be 'Jarred' in a Bar Instance that doesn't have the Jar unlocked has been fixed.
Though, it is possible this update will make it so you cannot Jar people in current (un-updated) instances.
Since this only effects Jar Jail, I am not going to require a world refresh on everyone. If you create a new Bar Instance however, you'll get the patch.

This drink has a unique property: The potency of its effects build up based on how many times you've had the drink in the past (using your Drinkstory stats), with different sounds as you climb the stack!
